On this channel, we've talked a lot about predators who choose to victimize children.

We've covered stories of pedophiles working in the government, in churches, and in preschools.

We've seen how even the places that should be the safest, sometimes house the most

vile creatures of our population.

These cases are amongst the darkest that I cover, not just because they include horrific

stories of child sexual abuse, just because they include horrific stories of

child sexual abuse, but because they shatter whatever illusions we may have or hold about our

leaders. These stories remind us that not only are there people who are eager to harm children

out there, but that they always find ways to hide in plain sight, leading us to question all the

time, who we can trust, and

where exactly is safe.

Today I'm going to cover a story about yet another institution that, despite its reputation

as a force for good, has harbored in the past, devious and serious offenders.

And unlike other cases, the crimes that we're going to cover today are irrefutably proven.

There's no doubt about what I'm going to share with you today and its validity.

There's no trail of clues or ambiguous answers, just the reality of what sometimes happens even at the highest level.

So, while we can take solace in knowing that those responsible have been charged and arrested,

we must also wrestle with the fact that this all happened in the first place, and that it could be happening again somewhere else right now.
