Summary

Figuratively speaking, we are halfway through the NFL player acquisition period and at this point it is clear which teams have improved their roster so far and which teams have not taken steps forward. One of the team that is clearly better today is the Chicago Bears and it isn't just about the players, getting Ben Johnson at coach makes a huge difference. The Houston Texans continue to look like a team that has regressed and there is some worry that the New England Patriots' influence on the Texans may not be a positive. Finally, the Miami Dolphins are about as boring of a team as there is in the NFL right now and after where they were just a few years ago, you could see change on the horizon.
