A young man who is infatuated with a woman who isn't returning his feelings

is given a method in which the love of his life finally gives him a second look.

The method in question, a love potion.

Now, it's not unusual for love potions or any potion for that matter to really never work out the way that the user intends, which can often lead to tragedy.

A poison might be put into the wrong drink, a sleeping pill

might put someone into a permanent slumber, and as of the case with tonight's tale,
