of england has intervened in the markets once again and i've got one question for you where. Where's Liz Truss? She's the prime minister of this country, right? For the moment, I'm not quite

sure how long that's going to last, but you know, for the moment, she's the prime minister.

And I would have thought, if the Bank of England is being asked to intervene in the markets

in order to stave off a financial disaster, wouldn't you think it's worth actually saying

something about it? Quasi Quartet, supposedly, is up before the Treasury questions today.

So in the afternoon later, he will be apparently asking questions in the House of Commons.

But that's later. The Bank of England has now intervened for the second time in our economy, right? Now, whether you think

that's a good idea or not, the fact is that it does create a little bit of panic. Nobody really

knows what's going to happen. People worry about their mortgages. People worry about where the

economy is going. Surely Liz Trush should come out and say, look, we have taken a decisive action

this morning. We have decided to intervene. The Bank of England,

which of course is independent, as everybody knows, wink, wink. They've decided to do something,

and we have fully endorsed what they've done. She doesn't have to say they ordered it because
