41-year-old Lindsay Vaughn was airlifted from a downhill race in Switzerland after she crashed into safety netting when she fell landing a jump.

This was to be Vaughn's final event before the Milan-Cortina Winter Games, and the severity of her injury is still unknown. Mike Bryant
