back and I am happy to be behind the microphone. I've come out of my short retirement and

I will explain that later or I'll explain it right now. Here's the deal. I was actually going to stop producing the Chaos Chronicles. I think I announced that dramatically a couple of months ago, maybe like six weeks ago, and then I never really did a goodbye show.

And several people said, where's your goodbye show? And then many other people expressed, you know, sadness that the Chaos Chronicles was going away.

They emailed me, they wrote on Facebook pages, you know, how much they appreciated the show.

And I realized, um, I kind of missed the show too. I miss doing the Chaos Chronicles. My initial reaction was that I was just wiped out.

It's exhausted and that I needed to kind of consolidate my creative efforts between

writing books and being out there publicizing the books. I have a new magazine column. We're doubling

up production on satellite sisters.

I really thought, well, I'm not sure I have the time and the energy to make the Chaos Chronicles

as good as I want to make it.

And I take things pretty seriously. I know it's a

podcast I do in my closet, but I try to do an excellent job and I just felt kind of

burnt out from having so many balls in the air. So I took a break for six weeks and that's when I discovered I really missed it.

And I think that goes back to my original mission when I started on the air many years ago with satellite sisters. I felt like there was a voice missing in the media landscape and that was real mothers with real issues and real lives with real kids and really imperfect situations who were working and getting the
