Summary

Today we are focusing on military fathers. Before we get into the show, we thank you for serving our country and providing a safe place for us to raise our families. This episode is for you.

Ben Killoy is a veteran and the host of the Military Veteran Dad Podcast and his mission is to bring every dad home. We're not just talking about being physically home. We're talking about the special challenges of being a military veteran dad.

Servicemen are gone for long periods of time. The normal world continues while they're deployed, and their families learn to live without them. Once military dads return home, they lose their uniform and go from being Superman to Clark Kent overnight. It's a huge adjustment that can leave a soldier lost as to who he is and wondering how to become part of his family, workplace, and community again.

Ben Killoy talks about how military fathers can readjust to family life, become great leaders in their circle of influence, and leave a lasting legacy for their kids.

People are starting to fade out, people are starting to fizzle out. So yeah, finally getting that crowd back to myself. But speaking of actually habits and
