The false teachers follow three avenues then of attack, ridicule, morality, and uniformity.

They use those things to deny the second coming of Christ to judge the world.

He's not going to come.

They ridicule that idea.

They don't want the thought to enter their mind.

It might crimp their sinful style.

And so they intellectualize, philosophiesies and come up with uniformitarianism.
