Like, how did I end up here? Maybe it's more of a kind of rhetorical question. How do I end up here? Well, that's a bigger question for another day. I think we thought it would be good to have someone who was going to host who wasn't like in this stuff day in and day out, who was a distant from it who might have some questions that we could address so i'm stupid and distant yeah okay fair enough fair enough

speaking of ignorant lorenzo's here good evening hello oh just a Oh, just a quick intro, right. Great. And we're delighted to have Peter O2 here as well. Hello, Peter. How we doing? Happy to be here. It's Peter's my first time podcasting together, so I'm excited about that. I'm hoping for a bit of professionalism, which is severely lacking from some people. Anyway, look, let's just get into it. The season starts on Sunday, this Sunday

coming, the 17th, away to hearts. It's fair to say clear that last season was an enormous

disappointment in almost every single way. How are you feeling at this point in the season?

Or pre-season, I should say. I'll be honest. We are recording this on Tuesday, late afternoon, and we tried to time it so that

we would make sure that we were close enough to the start of the season, but we would also

have some players in that we could talk about. That has not happened, which means that

it all feels a bit panic stations at the moment in terms of the fan base, in terms of my mindset, in terms of being sort of told by the club, oh yeah, definitely we're going to be signing players.

Well, where are they?

Because we've seen all the other clubs signing lots of players and we have had two incomings and then radio silence.

So it's hard.

I'm excited.

I'm really excited for the season to be starting again because it's a clean slate and it's going to be good.

But it's keeping the faith that we will have a full enough squad is proving tricky at this moment in time.

I think that that entire thing is symptomatic of across the entire club, including the men's team, just this lack of action. Incredibly frustrating for fans. Peter, where's your head at right now? Yeah, probably similar place to Clairs, although there is still that point, you know, you get a week before the season and all of a sudden all of that, you just kind of get excited for it and and you just there's a bit of me inside of things maybe maybe we can do something this season
