The Hello and welcome to the Celtic Way, a mini podcast series where we talk to fans who've been involved in successful campaigns around Celtic.

Through the series, we'll talk to three individuals about their fight for change, what made their campaign successful and what lessons can be taken from their work in light of the current situation.

In this series, as well as finding out about the people and the organisations, we hope that we can start to find ways and develop ideas about how change can happen at Celtic going forward.

In this first episode, Claire Wilde talks to Jeanette Finley of the Celtic Trust about what the trust is, what it does, the campaigns that's been involved into date and how the organisation believes change is best sought.

Current circumstances around our club are really tough at the minute

and it's especially difficult when we feel that we're not being heard.

With that in mind, it's important to remember times when fans have been listened to,

when they have been able to affect change and to remind ourselves that it can and will be done again.

My name's Claire Wilde. This is a little bit of a different episode for us today.

This is hopefully one in a little series that we're going to be doing with people who are campaigners around Celtic football club.

Obviously, at this moment in time, things have been tricky to say the least. But I'm joined by Jeanette Finley from the Celtic Trust. Hi, Jeanette. Hi, Claire. How are you doing? I'm good.

Thank you very much for being with us today. We very much appreciate it. Thank you for asking me.

Basically, we've asked you on because I think a lot of our listeners will be very familiar with

the trust especially in recent weeks. There's been a lot of talk about the Celtic Trust but

they might not know sort of a lot about the inner workings and things that you've done as an

organisation. So my first question is very basic and it's what is the Celtic Trust?

Okay, no, that's a good question.

And I'm really delighted it's very good time for us to be able to, you know, get that message again about how we are and what we do.

Because I think despite having us been in our now 21st year,

we've struggled really to kind of explain why the trust is different.
