Conventions have always been an essential part to the fan experience. When Star Wars debuted at San Diego Comic-Con in 1976, it paved the way for Star Wars appearing at many fan conventions in the future.

1999's first official Star Wars celebration started the tradition that is enjoyed by many people all over the world. In April, thousands will descend upon Orlando to celebrate what they love about living This Galactic Life.

Here are your hosts, Charlotte and Caitlin.

Hi, and welcome to Sky Talkers This Galactic Life.

I'm one of your host, Caitlin.

And I'm your other host, Charlotte.

And we're really excited for this episode because we're going to be talking about Star Wars Celebration.

But before we get to that, how has your past couple weeks been, Charlotte? It's been good. I just got back from Mexico.

Yeah, live in the high life. But yeah, I'm really, really excited to dive right into

talking about celebration. It's like, I'm so excited. It's going to be the best four days.

We've been looking forward to this for so long. Yeah, I think we bought our tickets last March.

Yeah. I don't know. It's been a while. Something crazy like that. Well, while Charlotte was in Mexico, I was here in Georgia, and I was doing some schoolwork

and watching some Clone Wars, actually.

With the scare of Clone Wars being gone, I really took it to heart and was like, I got to watch

all the Asoka episodes again and I did so what has been

your favorite one that you revisited the the the Deonosis arc was really fun um I forgot how much I liked

that one the landing at point rain uh that one is really great um it's really funny too uh like you get an

anakin and osoka they've got some great banter in that episode arc.

And then, of course, it's like our one shot of Barris.

And Asoka calls her Dependable Barris.
