administration's continued campaign to explain what on earth is going on is so confusing that Biden himself

was confused by it and said yesterday in his public statement about the importance of doing

everything we could to get vaccinated that if you're vaccinated you don't have to wear a mask,

which was interesting since this entire news cycle began with the declaration that everybody

should wear a mask indoors again that is the recommendation of the CDC so apparently the president

didn't quite understand that or hadn't or had forgotten then when he was asked by Peter

Ducey of Fox News at some point why he had said that in May that everybody if you're vaccine

you can take your mask off you then said I didn't say that and even though he had just said that if

you're vaccinated you can take your mask off but that is not what his what the Senate officials

is using the control is saying that's not what the mayor of DC is saying I think we're expecting them

on Monday the mayor of the city of New York will also say that the indoor mask mandate is back on

and so on so this is you know about as bad as public messaging can get and it was not helped I would

say by the release of this slide show that supposedly is the reason that the CDC panicked and said

everybody should put their masks on which you can find at Axios this morning the 13 deck 13 slide

deck that is a communications document by the way it's not a it's not a science document it's

it literally says the title of it is improving communications around vaccine breakthrough and

vaccine effectiveness so good job there CDC fulfilling the mandate of your slide show because

the communications have if anything been incredibly damaged by what you've been saying this week

...
