Will you join me in the word of prayer? Heavenly Father, we thank you for this time where we can come

and worship you, Lord, in spirit and in truth, Lord. For those are the people you are looking for,

Lord. And so we lift our praise and worship up to you this morning, Lord. We thank you for this opportunity

to be in your house, Lord, with your people.

So would you speak to us, Lord, as we get into the word.

Thank you for this time and thank you for our pastor.

Continue to watch over him and his family.

So glad you're here.

You can be seated. I want to welcome those of you that are joining us online as well.

Real quick, before we get started, I want to, by way of a reminder, let you know that 7 p.m. this upcoming Tuesday here in the sanctuary, we're going to have our prayer meeting.

to get to today really looking forward to what the lord has for us we're going verse by verse through

second peter and today our text is chapter 2 verses 14 through 16.
