It was 1991, a hot summer, and in Los Angeles, a startling number of bodies were starting to appear in the downtown area of the city, specifically the area known as Skid Row.

Even more specifically, not far from the infamous Cecil Hotel, which would become famous many years later with the strange and bizarre death of Elisa Lam. But even back in 1991, there was already something incredibly dark in that very horrifying place.

The victims, though, that were showing up in this summer of 1991 were all sex workers,

and they were all strangled and murdered in a very very specific way.

It seemed like the killer had a very specific ammo. Each were killed, strangled, with their own bra.
