Today we are bringing in two special guests to talk about two, I think, very different aspects of Oscar

viewing and award season.

First, we're going to be joined by Carla Lolly Music of Bonapetit, who has a lot of recommendations for the food you can serve at Oscar

Night Parties, the themed food, baby embracing a couple of puns, and also a really spectacular

gourmet popcorn recipe that I have had and I can speak to personally.

And then we're going to be joined by Daniel Joyo, who has been a listener to the show who several of

us get to meet at the Toronto Film Festival and has kind of masterminded the theory of how Best Picture works and has

some fairly bold predictions about how it's going to shake out this year.

So we're going to go from the fun of Oscar Night Parties to the very detailed Oscar Math that actually

tells you who's going to win best picture.
