Now more than ever, Christians need to know how to respond to pro-abortion arguments, how to train young people to think biblically about abortion, how to make the case for life.

My guest today is Scott Klusendorf, president of Life Training Institute, an organization

dedicated to training pro-life advocates to persuasively defend their views.

In our conversation, he does something a little bit different.

He makes a compelling case for abortion, all so that he can teach us how to refute it

through simple logic and reason. I think you'll find that Scott's insights are penetrating,

understandable, and easy to apply as you consider the people in your life who need to hear

Well, Scott, thank you so much for joining me again on the Crossplay podcast. Great to be with you, Matt.

So today we're going to walk through a number of common rhetorically powerful pro-abortion arguments that we sometimes hear out in the world.

And we're going to do that, though, in maybe a somewhat unorthodox way.

You're actually going to make the pro-choice case

as best as you can, kind of giving all of the best arguments that you've heard in support of

a pro-choice position. And then after you've done that, you're going to help deconstruct those

arguments, maybe help those who might even be feeling like, I don't know how I would respond

to that. You're going to show where the holes in those arguments are and help the pro-life Christian who's

listening have a better grasp on how to respond to those things. But before we get to that,

I wanted just to briefly hear your thoughts on where the pro-life movement is today in light of

being a year out from the Dobbs decision. Could you give us a little summary

of how you see things? Yeah, let me give you five points, I think, that we'll help clarify.
