0:04.0	Back in the 90s, Congress passed a pretty sweeping ban on sports betting across the United States.
0:11.0	This is a pretty universally popular law. It passes overwhelmingly all the sports leagues speak out in favor of it.
0:17.0	It's the law of the land between 1992 and 2018. It wasn't until 2018 that the Supreme Court stepped in and basically undid that law.
0:25.6	Since then, almost all of the states have gone ahead and legalized sports betting.
