Secretary Austin approved a temporary Department of Defense increase of an additional

1,500 military personnel to supplement U.S. Customs and Border Protection efforts on

the U.S. Southwest border.

I believe that it is inappropriate to require the limited resources of the United States

military to be used in such a way.

It is my testimony that the border is secure and we are working every day, day and night

to increase its security.

That is just so fraudulent, the Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mallorca

saying the border is secure.

That is insane.

Title 42, the COVID era policy begun under Trump where all asylum seekers have to wait

in Mexico because it is a public health crisis.

That thing now expires tonight, midnight, and they are here, they have been here.

We are setting records.

We set a record last year, this year is break and last year is record.

We have a title wave of humanity.
