Elizabeth Miller is a family caregiver, caregiver advocate, speaker, author, podcast host, Certified Caregiving Consultant, and Certified Senior Advisor. Her personal experiences caring for aging parents with chronic and terminal illnesses and for a sibling with developmental disabilities inspired her to create Happy Healthy Caregiver, LLC, in 2015.

Well, I'm going to start us off, Elizabeth, with viewers and listeners who may not be familiar with you and who you are. Why don't you share a little bit of your background and what you're doing and who you are? Yeah, I'm Elizabeth Miller. I live outside of Atlanta, Georgia. I am a former sandwich generation caregiver, so cared for both of my folks who are sadly no longer

with us and also was a support caregiver for my husband's mom nearby.

So we were simultaneously squeezed and working caregivers at that.

So really felt the pressures of that.

And now I'm, you know, caregiving comes in different seasons.

And my season now is I'm a sibling caregiver, sibling support caregiver for my older

brother, Tom, who was born with an intellectual disability and is on the autism spectrum.

You know, Elizabeth, a lot of times when you're in a caregiving journey and, you know, and is on the autism spectrum.
