Welcome to Not Sam wrestling a very special edition of Not Sam wrestling.

You know, I felt it only appropriate that we come to you with a special edition of Not Sam wrestling.

I was thinking about incorporating

this into the regular podcast but it really does deserve its own show. As we speak and

I record this on the day of what is being advertised as Sting's last match, his retirement

match at A. W. Revolution as he teams with Darby Allen to take on the Young Bucks.

A lot of us, myself included, are thinking about the career of Stig.

This does not feel like a wrestling retirement. This feels like a retirement.

This feels like Sean Michael's last match. This, I mean to an extent it feels like Rick Flair's

last match, but I guess maybe we knew that Rick Flair

wasn't ever going to go but maybe that's because Rick Flair and Stings careers are so

cosmically linked I think when I realized that I needed to do this show, it was when I was watching

dynamite on Wednesday, when I saw Sting repel from the ceiling, as I had watched

him do so many times in the late 90s watching Nitro every week flipping channels back and forth

between Monday Night Raw and W.C.W. Nitro.
