George wanted to honor his mother and continue to help in the Parkinson’s awareness cause and did not know how to bring change. 1:17.7	Oh, you're welcome. And thank you. I mean, you are a, you know, superstar, superhero in the
1:23.6	Parkinson's awareness and advocacy arena. And today, I just want to talk a little bit about advocacy.
1:30.1	And you shared some exciting news, and I'll have you share that on the screen.
1:35.7	You just got the proclamation in your mother's honor.
1:38.5	Why don't you talk about that?
1:40.4	Yeah, I was finally shocked.
1:42.3	But this is actually from Florida. I'm located in Florida,
1:46.1	Governor Ron DeSantis. And it wasn't easy, but I won't lie. I'm always pretty honest,
1:51.6	but I was really lucky to have the city where I reside, the mayor wrote a proclamation,
1:58.2	and we spoke on the phone, very, very helpful, very great person in the community, but it's local.
2:04.4	So you expect, you hope that the local would help support Parkinson's awareness or any disease, because until we have more awareness, we're going to be further from a cure.
2:14.0	After the city, I decided why not go to the county, Palm Beach Beach which is one of the bigger ones in the U.S.
2:19.8	And I had the honor to actually speak for a few minutes too.
