Her bold use of color and lighting mixed in with ideas inspired by Kabuki Theater and manga have resulted in images that leap off the page.

These vibrant images are more than just light in Photoshop wizardry.

They are photographs that reveal what can be accomplished when today's digital tools

are expertly combined with a strong, personal, creative vision.

It's a pleasure to have you.

I wanted to get started with finding out about how you came into your interest for photography.

I know you went to RIT, but was your interest in photography inspired before you

actually went there?

Yeah, I was in Tokyo before that and finishing my graphic design in undergrad.

So I wasn't doing a photography, but I didn't really feel that graphic

design was something what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. So just one time, it was one

of the class, the requirement class, that there was, you know,

the class that I have to buy a camera, and I bought a camera, and took a trip to South America,
