Today's guest is Adrian Sanchez-Gonzalez, and Adrian is a freelance photojournalist

based here in Los Angeles.

Unlike many of the photographers that I've interviewed on the show over the last several years,

Adrian is a photographer in the early years of his career.

Beginning even before he graduated high school, he began as an assistant to a professional

photographer, who provided him not only the opportunity

to learn to craft, but also to travel to countries as far as China and Dubai.

It's no surprise that such experiences inspired him to become a photographer.

While it's always interesting to hear a seasoned photographer talk about his beginnings,

I enjoyed having a conversation

with a young photographer whose passion and work ethic is leading him to what will no doubt be

Tell us how you got started.

Well, I got started, I guess,

I started taking pictures inside the family.

So my parents will give me the camera.

I was like, hey, take the family picture.

I was like, all right, well, I didn't mind not being in it, so I said, sure.

And that was probably like, that was way back 12, when I was 12, 13, 14 years old.
