Before I begin, as some of you know, I teach several online photography courses through

Today's guest is Emilio Banuelos, who is a freelance documentary photographer based

out of San Francisco.

A graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, Emilio, has produced several

interesting bodies of work, several based on his own life growing up in San Jose, California.

The project that really piqued my interest was his Greyhound series in which he documented traveling on Greyhound buses throughout the Midwest and the West.

It's a fascinating collection of images that reveal an engaging and interesting side of a very American experience.

I really enjoyed talking to him about this project and several others, which are just as intriguing.

And I think you'll find the next 30 or so minutes a really good use of your time.
