It's December 17, 2006, another episode of the Candid Frame.

0:33.2

Today's guest is Martin Trailer, and he's a photographer that I met while I was attending the Jay Maisel's workshop at the Santa Fe Photographic Workshop this past summer.

0:43.8

And one of the reasons I chose Martin was because I really liked his images and the way he

0:50.1

infuses his own personality and sense of humor into his work, which I think is very important

0:56.1

because I don't see a lot of photographers who are not so much funny, but photographers who really

1:01.7

try to put a little twist on their images that not only makes their work distinctive, but

1:09.6

brings a smile to your face.

2:01.7

particularly if you've been doing it for years and much of your time is mostly involved

2:07.0

on the business end of photography.

2:08.9

And it's something to consider, even if you aren't a professional.

2:13.7

And I think you're going to get a lot out of this interview.

2:16.3

And here we go.

2:18.1

Our interview with Martin Traylor.
