Hi, and happy new year. Before we begin our fifth season next month, I just wanted to take the time to share with you some of the changes that are coming up on the show. One of the big changes is that the show is going to move from being biweekly to weekly. So except for some breaks during the winter and the summer, you'll be hearing a new show every

week on the Candid Frame.

And I'm sure that's something that a lot of you are going to be excited about.

It's something I'm very thrilled about because there have been so many photographers and

different creative people that I've always wanted to have on the show.

But I was kind of limited in the fact that the show only comes out every

couple of weeks, and you can only interview so many people and be able to deliver those

interviews in a timely basis.

So after some ruminating and talking to some friends of mine, I decided to make the leap

and deliver the show every week.

Now, another part of that decision was that I talked to a lot of creative people,

photographers, writers, cinematographers, actors, and some of those conversations have been

incredibly fascinating.

But I always lamented the fact that I couldn't bring those conversations into the candid

frame because they weren't photographers. And I realized, you know, I couldn't bring those conversations into the candid frame because they weren't photographers and I realized you know I shouldn't allow that

to be limit what the show can be because ultimately this show has been about

choosing a life that involves creativity whether it be photography or or

something else so you're gonna find that the show is whether it be photography or something else.

So you're going to find that the show is going to be including those voices as well.

I'm including actors, cinematographers, sculptors, painters.

The bulk of the conversations is still going to be photographers, but on occasion,

I'm going to be throwing in something different
