It is the calm before the storm Wednesday evening, March 18th, NCAA tournament Eve, Louisville, South Florida Eve.

The goosebumps are flowing or the goosebumps are popping.

The vibes are flowing.

The nerves are hitting.

It's all happening right now.

Mike Rutherford here in Louisville, Kentucky, Dan Snard's up in Columbus, Ohio. The madness is upon us. We've got about, what is it, like not great at math, 16 hours or so until tip off. Dan, how we're feeling? Yeah, butterflies have arrived. I do feel like we're about 15 minutes out from this Miami, Ohio SMU tip.

Like to me, this is like the appetizer.

Like the other three games I really could care less about, but I'm actually pretty

excited for this SMU Miami Miami Ohio game just to get us

going and then yeah well tomorrow's the real thing um yeah I mean it's yeah no more talk no more

back and forth with the ruthless South Florida Twitter, Twitter trolls.

It's time to see what we got.

And yeah, I'm excited to get it going.

I always have this thought when we get to like right before the tip off of the Thursday

or Friday, whenever Louis was going to play the first game about, like, it's amazing

just how quickly

everything goes this time of year.

You know, two weeks ago, we're talking about seating for the ACC tournament, seating for

the NCAA tournament, you're reacting to games.

And right now it kind of feels like we're in the middle of basketball.

There's this weird feeling of we've been working towards this all season long and all year long and you wait for this moment.
