I invite you to take your Bibles or one from the pew in front of you and turn with me if you want to.

To Romans, chapter 1, versus 6 and 7, and we'll read it in the context of the paragraph, but our focus will be

on verses six and seven today. Romans chapter one, starting at verse 1.

Paul, a bond servant of Christ Jesus called as an apostle,

set apart for the Gospel of God, which he promised beforehand through the prophets in the

holy scriptures concerning his son who was declared

declared son of God with power

by the resurrection of the dead according to the spirit of holiness.

Jesus Christ, our Lord, through whom we have received grace and

apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among the Gentiles for his namesake.

And then these verses that we'll focus on today.

Among whom you today.

Among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ.

To all who are beloved of God in Rome, call as Saints grace to you and peace from God our Father in the Lord

Jesus Christ.

Father, as we begin to unfold these words, would you minister grace and peace throughout

this next 30 minutes or so? Because that's your purpose in this book.

Grace to you and peace, you said.

Grace to you and peace. Let grace come upon this church.

Let peace come upon the troubled waters of every soul in this room. Through Christ I pray,

amen. Through Christ I pray. Amen.
