So we all know about the New York Post. I read it every day. I mean, I'm online with all sorts of sites.

The Post is one of my favorites. And I learned that they created a West Coast offshoot that's going to

begin soon called the California Post, which unto itself is interesting. And then even more interesting,

I learned that they hired one of my

favorite people, Breitbart senior editor at large Joel Pollock as its opinion editor,

which means that the California Post will maintain its, I think it's editorial outlook,

which you could call it conservative, you can call it American, you could call it nationalist,

you could call it realist, whatever you want. But Joel Pollack joins us now on the Savage Nation

podcast. Joel, welcome to the program. Great to be with you again. What about your new role

at the California Post? What would you be doing it? This is an exciting story, actually. Well, I'll be the opinion editor, and I'll be responsible for pulling together

the voices that are suppressed too often across California, voices that are critical and

growing about what's going on in the Golden State, how it is being mismanaged, running to the ground by Gavin Newsom and the Democrats, and really looking for an alternative.

And in some ways, trying to set party labels aside because when you're talking to an audience in California, you know that most of the

people who read your paper are going to be Democrats, but trying to say there's a better way of doing

things than the way the current crop of Democrats has been doing them. And my motto for the

opinion page is going to be, we deserve better, because certainly we do deserve better than we're

getting in California.
