This is your host, James Early, as always.

And as always, I'm joined by my buddy, Sean McIver.

And we're excited to talk to you about a

really great movie this week. In fact, as I mentioned last time, we are going to be doing a three-part

miniseries with three films that are all naval films. They're films that don't have tons of

combat in them. They were all made in the 50s and they all star legends of the screen,

people from the golden age of Hollywood and even much longer than that. So without any further ado,

let's get started. We're going to today be talking about the 1954 film The Cain Mutiny,

starring Humphrey Bogart as well as other people. We'll get into that little bit later.

As always, I'll set the stage with some of the basic information, and then Sean is going to dig a

little deeper and talk about the background and the production of the film. The Kane Mutiny came out,

as I said in 1954. It's in color. It's two hours and four minutes. On Rotten Tomatoes,

the critics gave it 92 percent,, the critics gave it 92%.

And the fans gave it 77%.

On IMDB, it has a 7.7 rating, which is pretty good.
