Today, the bystander effect. Are we all guilty?

Now we've all been in real life situations where something bad has happened to someone in public or someone in your family or maybe a friend has said something offensive while you're there and you didn't intervene

Now when we talk about our Kelly Harvey, Kevin Spacey.

We always talk in terms of victims and alleged abusers.

But what about all the people who may have stood by

and allowed an abuse of power, something they knew was wrong, to happen.

What could they, or even we, have done differently to stop it?

You're about to hear from a young woman called Norphadel. She's a 19-year-old

Muslim woman from Canada. What would you have done in this situation?

I was at work and the day before I had a really bad customer

come in who under her breath while I was walking by her in the store checking up on her

she told me under her breath to get the hell out of here and go back to my country.

I woke up the next day on December 4th and I told myself,

today is going to be a good day.

It was my first official shift closing

as I was promoted.
