I am so so so excited to announce today's episode.

We sat down with Simon Dunmore, founder of Defected and Glitterbox and I can honestly say

this is the best interview I've ever listened to in the music industry.

Certainly from a brand build and perspective and understanding how to build an online community.

If you look at Defected and Glitterbox they are the golden case studies of how to do exactly that

and they've give us all a blueprint of how we can emulate what they've achieved.

Simon told us all about how he's built a global music empire and that's across everything

with the club events they do, festivals, labels, publishing, radio and so much more.

Simon spoke about how Defected took a big risk at the time by moving to Eden and I'd be there

but ultimately that decision paid off.

We spoke about how Glitterbox became a success despite the doubters believe it or not in its early days.

We talked about the lessons from recently launching Defected Radio and Simon was very honest about the things he wants to improve in that already.

We also spoke about keeping your finger on the pulse with your audience and how Simon to this day still reads all of the comments

on Defected and Glitterbox's socials and he makes sure he's still spending time on the dance floor with his audience.
