Alright, we're diving into Acts chapter 15 today.

We're continuing to follow the first missionary journey of the Apostle Paul in his friend

Barnumus.

And we have kind of a long passage, so we're just going to get right into it.

It says, some men came down from Judea and we're teaching the brothers.

And this next phrase is in quotes, so it's telling exactly what they're preaching.

Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.

Okay, so that's a pretty clear description of what they're saying to the believers.

Verse 2.

And after Paul and Barnumus had no small dissension in debate with them, Paul and Barnumus

and some others were appointed to go up to Jerusalem to the Apostles and the elders

about this question.

So being sent on their way by the church, they passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria,

describing in detail the conversion of the Gentiles, and brought great joy to all the

brothers.
