Hello, super great kids.

Happy Halloween, Ooh!

Because it's Halloween, we're giving you not one but two scary stories.

This is the first of two. And if you're an outlet, we're giving you two

extra stories on top of that. This tale is called The Bugan and it's a slightly scary story but not

fairy with a happy ending the second story is a bit scar, but it's well worth a listen if you're feeling brave

because it's told by the masterful storyteller Daniel Morden. This first story is about a grumpy hairy creature called

a Bugern and it comes from the Isle of Man which is a small island sitting in the Irish Sea between Ireland and

Great Britain.

It has an unusual flag which is known as the Three Legs of Man and it looks a bit like three bent legs which sort of

meet in the middle and make a cross shape. The original language spoken on the

Isle of Man is called Manx, but sadly the last native speaker died over 50 years ago, so they're

trying to get people to learn the language again so that it doesn't disappear forever.

Now, just before I start our story,
