Welcome back to your Thursday Buckeye Talk from Cleveland.com, Doug Lamarice, Nathan Bares,

Steven Means. We're talking about missing folks. And who might be missed next year the most

off this current Ohio State football team? And who the Buckeyes missed the most from last year's

team? We're going to do a draft on this podcast, the big Thursday pod. And we're doing this because

it's senior day on Saturday, the last home game for a bunch of guys. We always do a prediction post

at Cleveland.com, the underclassmen that we think won't be back. Ohio State made it a little

interesting with announcing some of the guys who are going to walk, run out of the tunnel,

run senior day, necklace petite prayers, get a run out of the tunnel, even though he's a fourth year

junior. So that's an indication. But there are other guys who aren't running out of the tunnel

who might not be back. So we're going to go through that a draft of who they would miss the most

next year of anybody who might lead. But we're going to start with just a little taste, a little

appetizer guys of who they missed the most from last year's team. I sent it out to the

textures. I sent nine names. We're going to draft six. And we'll dive right in Steven. I'm

giving you the first pick. Who did the Buckeyes miss the most from last year's football team?

I'm not going to take the guy that you guys are probably going to take the first. I'm going to take

Pete Warner just because I understand what the case for Justin Fields is, but I just think the drop

off from what the production has been from what Pete Warner was as a linebacker last year. It's

what any of the linebackers have been consistently enough all year this year is as much wider.

Well, that's not right. I mean, I just say what you're saying, if Justin Fields was on the team,

would they have beaten Oregon? I don't know. And that's where I, that's what I asked myself. And I'm

not, I don't, I don't know, because this defense was really bad at the start of the year. So I don't
