| 0:16.1 | I wanted to look into what kinds of challenges they face that their brothers don't. |

| 0:28.8 | I've never actually asked them, and my father has never told them that they should report to the president. |
| 0:35.5 | We still didn't think about it as a possible career, and her dad wasn't trying to pull her |
| 0:39.4 | on board. But a few years after graduating, she was working for another company as a personnel |
| 0:44.6 | manager, as they called them in those days, and one day she got a call. |
| 0:49.5 | I knew our controller at the family company, and she was somewhat difficult to work for, |
| 0:56.6 | and she reached out to me to ask if I wanted to be her assistant, and so I came to work for her. |

| 1:05.3 | So Marty started working at her dad's company as assistant controller, but not long after she'd been hired, Marty's boss, |
| 1:12.1 | who she said was a brilliant woman, way ahead of her time, she got sick. She smoked three packs a day. |
| 1:18.4 | It was the 70s after all. It turned out she had lung cancer. She died soon afterwards. |
| 1:23.9 | Marty took over her role and the company became her career. In 2000, she became president. To this day, the firm is very much a family affair. |
| 1:34.2 | My dad is still the CEO, and then I have two brothers who have been involved with the business, and we're all the Sibs and the family. |
| 1:45.1 | Her father is now in his mid-80s, and he lives in Florida most of the year. |
| 1:49.0 | Marty runs things, which sounds pretty good, and it is. |
| 1:53.0 | But there are certain things that keep niggling at her, even after all her years with the company. |
