Well, we're looking at the British invasion of Iceland,

which, John, until I met you, I didn't even know it was a thing.

I don't know why I'm so interested in this.

You're a little bit obsessed by the ideas, John.

I think it's because it was just such a polite invasion.

And, you know, the word invasion sounds so aggressive and imperialist and destructive.

But basically, the British army turned up at Reykiewick on May theth, 1940, and went, I am so embarrassed.

Do you mind awfully if we invade you?
