Thomas Alva Edison was born in Milan, Ohio on February 11, 1847.

His family moved to Port Huron, Michigan soon after Thomas was born and this is where he

spent most of his childhood.

Thomas was one of those students who spent more time day dreaming than paying attention

in school.

His classroom teachers don't like it when they're students daydream and Thomas's teacher
