Hey, everybody. Welcome to a very special episode of The Breakdown. I'm Alison Gill,

0:05.7

host of the Daily Bean's podcast. I'm going to Rachel Maddow you for a second. I'm going to take

0:10.7

you back to World War II when a small group of independent journalists known as the Murrow Boys

0:15.6

kind of turned the tide on public opinion of the war by bringing the raw, unfiltered reality of it to

0:21.7

alive living rooms around the world. Handpicked by CBS News Radio legend, CBS News Radio, I think,

0:28.1

1:18.9

who pointed at the American flag in his courtroom and called Mike Flynn a traitor to his country

1:23.5

and asked Mueller prosecutors whether he could be charged with treason, that judge has granted

1:30.1

Katie Fang her preliminary injunction in this case to get the Epstein files. Now, in order to get

1:36.0

a preliminary injunction, a plaintiff has to meet some basic criteria called the Lujan factors,

1:42.2

standing, in other words, and jurisdiction. That's named, Lujan factors named after, in other words, in jurisdiction.

1:45.2

That's named, Lujan factors named after a case stating back, I think, to like the 1900s, 1990.

1:51.0

Now, Lujan laid out the factors required for Article III standing, and they include first that you have to show an injury, in fact.
