Hey, everybody, it's Alison Gill. Welcome to The Breakdown. This week, a Swedish hacktivist

uncovered a list of about 220 people associated with billionaire broligarch Peter Thiel

and his super secret dialogue society, who, by the way, basically purchased the vice

presidency of the United States. And then that story was confirmed by Wired

magazine. And while we still don't know the nature of why certain people are associated with

dialogue, because we've only heard from a couple people that it exposed, it really does paint a

picture of what George Carlin referred to as the big club and you ain't in it. And now these

broligarchs and tech billionaires have

have fully infiltrated the government. They used to play around the edges to be sure,

lobbies, stacking the Supreme Court, getting citizens united, then buying candidates. But now

they're straight up government officials, turning in the Panama papers, turning up in the

Epstein files, sitting next to Trump on his dais during inauguration day, buying up news organizations

and social media sites to control the narrative. We've got the Pentagon removing restrictions

barring contracts with the president and his family and his cabinet members and their family members.

We've got the companies that donated modest millions to be sure to the Vanity Ballroom Project,

now getting over $50 billion in government contracts.

And we can see the impact of privatization on the government.

We got cars on fire.

We got spaceships blown up,

nor corporate regulations, a paint peeling up off the bottom of the reflecting pool if you want

to get down to just the $14 million problems. But now there's a trillionaire among us, not to mention

the scores of other baby billionaires and useful idiot oligarchs to prop them up.
