So the first video that I did with Cam, I had mentioned that season four to me was a bit of a mixed bag.

I felt like the narrative at times was a bit rudderless, especially when it came to the heroes.

But Homelander's always been interesting.

And I think with this episode especially,

pairing him with Soldier Boy and then playing with the idea, is Soldier Boy helping him because maybe he wants to embrace being a father? Maybe he was actually moved by what Firecracker said

that Homelander looks up to him.

I never said that. You want my help or not?

And then playing with the generational gaps as well, because it's not only their father-son relationship, but also Ryan and Homelander, Ryan and Butcher.

And I felt like the boys in this specific episode, it was a fun problem for them to figure out that they're trying to find the V1.

There's this plant virus that's making these people angry.

So they kill themselves and then the plant feeds on the corpses.

And French, he's immune because he's been a druggie for so long.
