What's going on guys, this is rewatch Ryan. We are here to break down season three of the boys. I'm Ryan Snelling. Brando's big mouth is across America. How are you today sir? I'm great. How are you? I'm I'm really stoked. I slipped in a little bit. I feel judged by you. But it's right. I was up late last night finishing the season of the boys.

Does that justify it? What time did you go to bed? It was probably between 1.30 and 2 a.m. Okay, not crazy. But you watched the whole season in one sitting. No, I watched. I got home from Thor love and Thunder and started hero gasm, which of six. So I saw six, seven and eight last night. So Thor love and thunder got spoiled for me. Oh really? Someone told me or it was in a stupid Facebook comment. What?

Don't spoil it here, but I'm not going to. Okay, but it was your who's the guy that always gives everything five stars no matter what Michael K. Michael K. Yeah. And it was on his. I'm just going to have to block that guy because someone was like spoilers and I went to scroll away from it. But it just scrolled down and not read what happened. It really Michael K. That's not that isn't selling. It wasn't Michael K. Someone posted on his thing. Okay.

I also wonder what it could be because anyway, well, yeah, you want me to say? No, I don't. Okay, people are here to talk about the boys, which that's right is the better superhero franchise. Hey, man, as of as of right now, for sure, Marvel's sort of having a downer year, a couple of years. And the boys and a lot of other things are just sort of getting us excited, which is good, you know, yeah.

Um, so I knew and remembered you love the boys because we talked about season two. You don't remember it. You don't. But I think that's like, I think that's like pandemic brain because I think it was like early 2020. It's because it's been a while.

It's so good. Like coming into season three, I was almost wanted to do a rewatch just because it's so much fun, but they're all like 45 minutes to an hour long.

So I wasn't about to do that, but I watched like a recap thing on YouTube. Yeah. And I just remembered how much I love this show.

Um, did you ever watch Invincible? No. Okay, I thought Invincible was well done. And I haven't watched any of like the spin-offs from the boys, like they have like an animated thing too. I haven't watched any of that.

But I love Amazon Prime and how they have dealt with superheroes, the things that they've chosen and like the route they went. I don't know if it's because I'm old and love violence because I'm such a pacifist.

But uh, it is incredible. Oh, Amazon Prime chef's kiss. Yeah. So good. I think the thing about the boys, it's sort of the opposite of how I feel about stranger things when it's off air. I absolutely feel it's absence. Like I, okay, when the boys isn't on air, I long for the boys.

If you remember, I did like a whole thing where I was showing Ernesto a bunch of shows and a bunch of movies a couple of years ago during the pandemic. The boys is the one that I would have probably gotten to next with him because you know, it was always about like showing him like legacy shows in the MCU.

And then I would have inserted what I think is one of the best shows that is on right now, which is the boys. And yeah, it just has a lot of those.

It's just always memorable and I just always care about it. And you know, nowadays it's so easy to get distracted by other shows, but I always long for this when it's off air. And I'm always on level that when it's on air, it just kind of doesn't miss a beat.

So I had the opposite reaction with stranger things. I was anticipating stranger things, but I'd kind of forgotten about the boys and just figured that it was a show Amazon would have killed during the pandemic.

But my because it has to be so expensive, so expensive to make not because of the cast per say, but because of the CGI.

It's probably why they do eight episodes, you know, yeah, it is. So I'd forgotten it as soon as I watch that recap in William Butcher said literally anything. I was like, oh my God, I love that.

And so this show has been this has been my favorite show of the year without a doubt by far and I just finished stranger things. So this is season three is good season two and season one are great too.

Yeah, well, the only TV I've watched mostly movies, you know, getting rewatched Ryan Becca, but the few TV shows that I've watched, they've been the Marvel Disney plus, you know, Star Wars Marvel stuff or stranger things for. And then it kind of is this. So it's really just superhero television. I've watched and this is clearly the best.

Yeah, hands down. I also, I figured out, by the way, I love, I knew I was back at home with the boys when I started seeing Carl Urban's delivery because he, he ends so many scenes and as he's like going through a line, he starts turning his head so far away, but he could still maintain eye contact and he's smirking, you know what I mean?

And you know what I mean? He's always like, yeah, we're going to get over that. And he's like barely like a character. He always says that head that had not. And it just put a big smile on my face. I'm like, we're back.

So, yeah. And one of the things. So I watched the Falcon and Winter Soldier late. Like, I did, I have not watched what's the vision in Wanda, Wanda vision. I haven't watched that.

And I haven't watched whatever else that Hawkeye show is and I'll never watch it because Jeremy Rinner is nothing. Yeah.
