On February 2nd, 1996, a boy committed a heinous act against a family who trusted him. So if you like your coffee hot, but your bones chilled,

sit back and start your day with a morning cup of murder. Aileen Jenkins, 48, and George Jenkins, 50, were in the year 1996, living what most would

call an idyllic life.

Living in Las Vegas, Nevada, the married couple had a wonderful relationship and never

having any children of their own, decided to adopt two children, Joshua and Megan, while they were infants and

give them everything they could in life. However, not everything was so wonderful behind closed doors.

From the early age of five, Joshua started experiencing problems in education, behavior, and

mental health that had his parents seeking professional

assistance. Known to take out his mood swings on Aileen and George, when Joshua was a teenager,

they were forced to call the police to their home on numerous occasions, when their son's threats

and violence became too much to handle. In fact, in one particular incident, Joshua armed himself with a crossbow and a rifle

with plans on taking his father's life.

The weapons were eventually coerced out of his hands and the parents, at a loss, decided to

enroll Joshua into Vista Del Mar, a well-known boarding school for, quote, troubled youths in Los Angeles, California.
