Well, we recently got a chance to speak with a producer who worked on wife swap to learn

the inner workings of that heenie episode.

It's October 15th 2009, an ordinary Tuesday for the residents of Denver, Colorado.

I was just doing work around the house.

Robert Sanchez, senior writer at 5280 magazine, was at home in Colorado when something on

the television caught his attention.

And it just happens to be in the state where you're living and it stops you in your tracks.

It was like something out of a movie.

I'm just like staring at this thing or hurtling through through the air.

There are helicopters following this.

There are police and sheriff following this.

I think firefighters, paramedics, they're following this.

And the thing they were chasing?

It looked like a jiffy pop, popcorn container if you know what that is.

Some folks may be too young to know, but if you're a bit seasoned like me, you might have

grown up with this wonder of an invention.

A silver foil pan thing full of popcorn kernels that you'd put on the stove.

As the pan heats up, they would explode.
