cast. Hey everybody. Welcome back to True Crime Cast. Jamie here with John. We're excited to have you listening in again. We appreciate all

the downloads and those of you that went on and gave us a rating and a review and we

encourage those that haven't to go ahead and do that that would again

allow us to get some more visibility and we would greatly appreciate that.

John how you doing this week? Jamie I'm doing great it's always good to be back on the air and talking about some of our cases that we've been researching

I want to talk about some things that we alluded to last week and when we were talking about the screen murders we talked a lot about is it

fair to try juveniles as adults and to offer them the life sentence that they received and so while we were recording that it got my

wheels turning about a case that it's kind of close to home for me the case we're

going to be talking about today happened in the same county that I'm from.

Yeah, we had some good discussion off the air about the way

miners should be tried and the way they should be treated in our

criminal justice system.

And whereas last week we saw the

convicted murderers sentence to life in prison

and they're both still in prison,

we may get a different turn this week. So, so John why don't you get us rolling.

All right so today we're going to talk about Kenny Bartley. Kenny Bartley was a

14 year old growing up in Campbell County, Tennessee in a town of La Follett.

Kenny, like most of our other true crime cases that we talk about, was reported that he

grew up in an abusive home where his father was an alcoholic and his parents divorced sometime when Kenny was in middle school.
