But I wanted to post a talk that I gave at a marriage preparatory last weekend.

This was for our Lady of Lord's Catholic Church, so I was with the one and only Father

Brian Larkin and his partner in crime Father Sean Conroy and 31 marriage prep couples.

The talk is called the Bourbon Talk and it's a rather comprehensive 45 minutes on marriage

and all the problems and all the challenges that the Church's teachings face us in the

modern world.

This is offered to anybody who has interest in this topic, but specifically to those of

you who are preparing for marriage, maybe looking for a little more to augment the process.

Alright, I am a huge proponent of Makers Mark Bourbon, which I am drinking right now because

on Wednesday, Father Brian and I were talking and I said, hey, what talk am I giving this

weekend?

It's like in three days.

You're giving the Bourbon Talk and I was like, I have to give the Bourbon Talk and he's

like, you're giving the Bourbon Talk and I was like, crap.

So the Bourbon Talk is the last talk of the day and it's everything you don't want to

talk about.
