Powell alongside me we're gonna talk through the latest on FSG after it

emerged this week that the rents are for sale at the right price,

I should say, with plenty of interested parties likely to come to the table.

Already some speculation, Dave, that there might be some interested parties and a number of different options being discussed but before we sort of come to the details of it did

this news come as much of a surprise to you as it did to me and a lot of other people do you think?

Yeah, probably did. I went to the states about three weeks ago and the tone from Sam Kennedy who's kind of you know possibly

fourth in command there at FSG looks after the real estate etc and was quite

bullish over the future in the long-term plans they had for not only the Red Sox but

Liverpool, Pittsburgh, Penguins.

So, but there's probably a few factors at play here, one being the collapse of the Super League last year,

then you've got Chelsea Sale, which probably raised a few eyebrows given how the

interest and how much people were willing to pay and it was it was that sale

was obviously expedited because of the need to sell the club because of

a brand of it just sanctions but obviously expedited because of the need to sell the club because of Ramin

of Rannavich's sanctions but and also the the continuing pressure that they

face in trying to compete the likes of Manchester City and also obviously

emerging now Newcastle.

From what I can gather that the poor start to the season isn't something which has kind of made this decision kind of arrived quickly or sooner than it may have done.

But there is a sense of there they are exploring options and it does feel like it's
