Greetings Clark's World Citizens. Can I just tell you how extremely happy I am that

February is over and that we usher in a new month full of rain and possible spring flowers and the melting of the snow, hopefully,

depending on where you live, of course, but up where I am in my little neck of the woods in northeastern United States.

I am slowly melting away three feet of snow with warmer temperatures, more rain and more rain.

Oh yeah, and more rain.

I don't know about you, but with the winter being as bad as it was,

I didn't have an opportunity to go out very much.

So that's another reason why I'm hoping to help usher in the spring and summer for all the conventions that are going on. I know I've talked to you

about this before in the past but if you have a local convention go to it.

Meet authors, meet agents.

It's a pretty cool experience.

It's not a whole bunch of money depending on which con you go to

and if you're pre-read you can even save a little bit more.

It's a really unique opportunity to see how the business works and to learn something that

maybe you didn't know about through panels and just

talking with people in the industry. As for me, I'm going to PACs, I think in

two weeks March 11th. I'll probably be going to Penguin Con.

I'll probably be going to the Nebula Award weekend in Washington, D.C.

Reader Con's on my list as well as renovation in Reno, Nevada in August, which is the World Con for this year.

So Google some local Con's in your area and if you haven't gone to one, see what they're like.

So now on to our first story for the month of March 2011.
