Welcome back to the Bootsley Podcast. My name is Mark Simpson. I give hosts just like you,

0:04.8

the tools, the tactics, the training, but most importantly, the confidence to go and get those

0:09.3

lovely direct bookings. And today, I wanted to give you a book update two months on from the release

0:16.8

of the book, direct playbook. And I've got some amazing little stats and things to share with you.

0:22.2

So if you haven't picked it up and if you're watching on the video, I'm holding up on the screen.

0:25.9

It's called the book direct playbook written by myself edited by the amazing nearly can. It's

0:31.1

available on Amazon right now. You can go get it on the Kindle, the print and the audible. And

0:37.5

the whole goal of the book was to make sure that when somebody a host or a property manager or

1:22.8

minutes, which was unreal. And then the next goal was the Bed and Breakfast category. It was

1:28.2

much more competitive. There's a lot of really good books in there. Again, not always four hosts.

1:33.9

It's also for guests who are looking for Bed and Breakfast. So again, reeducating the guests.

1:38.4

It got top of there. And then what happened next, I didn't really expect. So the way that Amazon

1:46.1

works, you've got the books category, which will literally have every single genre in their

1:51.3

fiction, nonfiction, you know, you've got your likes, your Harry Potter's, all of those, name

1:55.1

your favorite book. It is in there. Okay, I was never going to rank there. The closest I got to
