Welcome back to the Book Club. I'm Michael Knowles and today we will be discussing the very beginning of wisdom, the book of Genesis.

We're going to have to try to figure out how to get through that in 25 minutes.

Luckily, we will be joined by

his excellency, Bishop Robert Barron, who has a little more expertise on this than

I do. Before we get to all of that, first I've got to thank our friends over at

We all say we want to read more, and then we never end up doing it, right?

no reason to have to summarize the book of Genesis.

People would be familiar with it,

and yet now biblical literacy,

maybe at an all-time low.

Read politician's speeches in the 19th century.

They're assuming the Bible at every turn.

Not anymore.
